Avaya Metadata-Driven Content Management System

Avaya is a global telecommunications equipment manufacturer, and this project required a redesign of Avaya's technical support site. Like the rest of avaya.com redesigned at Razorfish, this section used a semantic content management system that scaled better than previous techniques.
The project also involved connecting top-down user research with bottom-up content analysis through a "Needs-Methods-Content" analysis. This document mapped user needs to information finding methods, and those methods in turn to content types, ensuring customers could find what they needed in a way that fit their tasks and the content structure.
