Medscape is a leading web site for medical professionals. A survivor of the dot com downturn of 2000 who was later sold to WebMD, it offers a wealth of free content to registered members, such as journal articles, databases of medical information, and employment listings.

As a system administrator, I maintained all Internet servers (web, database, email, domain name service, search engine, file, and workgroup) and networking equipment. I also designed some user interfaces and acted as a liason with the production team.
